Ingmar Baumgart received a Diplom-Informatiker degree (comparable to M.Sc. in computer science) in 2005 from University of Karlsruhe, Germany and a Ph.D. in computer science in 2010 from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He is currently an assistant professor at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, where he is leading a Young Investigator Group, a junior research group funded by the 'Concept for the Future' of KIT within the framework of the German Excellence Initiative.
