Research Statement
I design and build distributed systems using scalable overlay-based networks. My current research focuses on the integration of opportunistic Delay Tolerant Networks with today's infrastructure networks with the goal to bring connectivity to unconnected areas, povide for cost-efficient communication with focus on the Internet of Things, and offload infrastructure networks to make communication flexible, sponteneous, and cost-efficient.
