Contrary to today's general purpose network architecture, we consider multiple application-tailored networks in our Future Internet scenario. These networks are catered for the need of specific applications and share virtualized resources of the physical network. End users connect to an individual network on demand, when they access services/objects served in such an application-tailored network. In this paper, we show an end user access scheme that enables automatic connections to application-tailored networks and hides network details from the user. The proposed approach covers the steps from advertising novel application-tailored networks, establishing a connection to the virtual network as well as downloading the required protocols. Furthermore, we discuss the infrastructure that is needed to accomplish those tasks.
